Founder Favorites: Miami Edition

Miami has plenty of stand-out steakhouses, but STK artfully blends the modern steakhouse and a chic lounge into one fabulous experience. What To Expect: They have Heineken 0 on the drink menu in Miami and across all of their locations and can also make a non-alcoholic cocktail upon request.

Who doesn’t love a good Farm to table restaurant and this one comes with a cozy relaxed atmosphere. Founded as a specialty coffee store, it still sells great coffee, but it also offers up amazing food. You can get a 100% plant-based meal or a slow cooked grass-fed short rib. Save room for dessert, because they offer a good variety, including vegan or gluten-free options.

What to Expect: They have two mocktails on their menu. If you can’t find street parking, there’s a garage nearby

North of Miami in Hollywood is a perennial favorite – the Taco Beach Shack. While it’s not exactly on the beach, it is within a block or so. This is a hip outdoor taco joint where you can get the traditional kind of tacos and other dishes or signature items like the Korean Short-Rib Taco with Kimchi Slaw. The outdoor space has live music, a casual vibe and plenty of lounging areas for hanging out.

What to expect: There are no NA drinks listed on the menu but they regularly whip up NA margaritas for customers.

Tucked away on a quiet stretch of Old Dixie Highway in North Miami Beach, the Neverland Coffee Bar is a vintage-inspired café. What will really catch your eye is the outdoor space that’s a cross between an artsy garden and a magical oasis. Whether you’re starting the day with coffee and brunch – which is absolutely delicious – or closing out the day with a pizzetta, it’s a fabulous place to connect with friends or take some time for yourself.

What to expect: There’s free parking around the coffee bar but it does fill up at busy times. Neverland is located inside a gated artists’ community of shops.

Superblue is a world-class experience that’s not to be missed, whether you call it artainment or experiential entertainment. You’ll enter myriad digital worlds that inspire awe and wonder. Walk through a mirrored labyrinth by Es Devlin, see your own heart beat to the glow of 3,000 lights and see other jaw-dropping immersive installations. Whether you go on your own or with friends, it’s an experience you’ll always remember.

What to expect: Tickets sell out fast so be sure to purchase them online in advance.
