Midnight Sun is the nation’s premier LGBTQIA+ video bar located in the heart of the Castro. It’s a top video bar and it plays current video hits, retro throw backs, hilarious tv clips, and more. What To Expect: They have three NA cocktails and Beck’s N.A. beer. This spot is 21+ only and they don’t serve food.



Harlan Records, tucked down a quiet ally, is inspired by Japanese listening bars. These places are focused on the idea to "listen more." It’s also inspired by the personal connection with music, local heritage and the “intangible effect of good spirits and great company.” The vibe here is definitely mellow with the music melting into atmosphere. Reviewers say the tunes and the drinks are great.

What to Expect: They have Erdinger Lager NA beer and a drink called “Liar’s Dice” where you can give the bartender a flavor profile and they’ll whip you up a NA cocktail. Parties of 10 or more need a reservation.



This spot is a restaurant on top and a bar underneath, located in Lower Nob Hill. Don’t let the name scare you off – it’s a tongue-in-cheek dig and everyone is welcome at Members Only. This dark and moody dining destination serves New American Fusion cuisine. The food is available pretty late into the evening. Downstairs is the cocktail lounge, Finders Keepers, inspired by a former Haight Street shop known for offering up lots of old and odd objects. The quirky décor includes tufted blue velvet couches, white marble cocktail tables, along with cute-creepy artwork, preserved insects, and taxidermy animals.

What to Expect: They have a large list of zero-proof cocktails and Kolsh NA beer. Reservations are recommended but walk-ins are welcome for Finders Keepers.



If you’re looking for a posh spot with killer views, you’ve found it. The View atop the San Francisco Marriott Marquis has a modern yet timeless setting and panoramic views of the city. Grab a drink and snack on small plates in this gorgeous lounge. The vibe of the space evolves over time, from an evening dining and drinks destination to a a late night hotspot. Many people consider this a must-visit place in San Francisco.

What to Expect: They have two mocktails. The Last call for food is at 10:45pm. On Thursdays through Saturdays after 9pm the View Lounge is strictly 21+ only.
